Most of times, when people think about their future or how communication will have been improved in a few years, technology is always mentioned. At least for teenagers, this one is the most interesting subject to discuss, especially computers, which have been the most useful gadget for a XXI century teenager.
Nowadays, it's difficult to find a teenager who doesn't have a telephone or even more, a PC. Internet is used for all types of things. Playing games and talking with someone who is living across the world are typical actions of this grown-up kid. Not only "home computers" but crucially laptops have become more modern and practical.
When you don't know what life has in store for some economic problem, you can just imagine what will happen by clicking your mouse and searching on "Google". This means that ANY information or news that you would like know is found in this technological gadget!
So in this sense, you can improve your brain with all types of points of view about a subject. The computer is a miscellany of all planet knowledge.This means that, again, this gadget is the most useful for a XXI century teenager.

ReplyDeleteI've just updated my computer 2 weeks ago and I needed to do this because, surprisingly, I was unable to see or read stuff because my versions were too old. I had updated it last year but after some months I needed more features and more capacity and that is a sign that technology advances very fast and we need to keep up with it. I agree with your idea that the internet has made our lives a lot easier.

But there are some troubles with computer developping. For example, some children have been attracted in computer games, in special, internet games. Much time was wasted in computer games so that pupils' basic knowledge has become worse. Many younger men didn't work because they don't have working skills and only have play computer game skills. Some games are very violent that lead some crime of youngers to increase.

ReplyDeleteGood point!! I remember I got my first computer and mobile from my dad when I graduated from high school. That was in 2001. But now look all teenager even a 5 year-old kid, they have the latest mobile or laptops or pc at home. We give the documents print from computer instead hand-written. If we are going to overseas, we book everything, like air ticket, accommodations, renting a car, applying a visa…etc, through internet. Internet makes our life easier. Not only teenager can not live without internet, but also everyone can’t live without it. I can’t image how my life will be without mobile and computer.
